Logging In
Tap 
Type your phone number or username or email.
Type your password.
Tap “Login”.
Check out new posts. Explore Instagram!
After checking out your friends’ posts or celebrities’ latest videos, you are now ready to log out of your account.
Logging Out
Tap the profile icon on the lower-right corner.
In your profile, tap the gear icon on the upper-right side.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Options. Look for “Log Out of (username)”.
Press “Log Out of (username)”.
Instagram will offer to remember your login info for you. You may click “Not Now” if you don’t want your login info to be remembered. (Because of course, you’re trying to keep it manual!)
Press “Log Out”.
And you’re out!

Yes, it’s extra effort. But you will surely be extra safe in case someone borrows your phone, or if you have to return your friend’s phone that you just borrowed. Sometimes, when things are automatic, the risks also come in the same manner. Smartphones were made to avoid some manual tasks, but keeping it manual with your accounts is definitely important.
