1. Launch the app and then choose a gender.
2. Customize your avatar’s Skintone!
3. Select a face shape under the Heads tab..
4. Customize your avatar’s eyes!
5. Choose a hairstyle.
Clothing
1. Tap “Select Clothing”.
2. Check out the Tops, Bottoms, Shoes, and Accessories and stylize your avatar!
3. Want to see how your 3D avatar looks? Just swipe in any direction!
4. Hit “Save Your Look” when you’re done.

Chat with Others
IMVU is a virtual community made up of people from around the world. It’s the perfect platform to start up conversations!
1. Tap the Chat button.
2. Choose a Room.
- Use the Filter button to filter the chatrooms.
- You can also pick from My Rooms, Favorites, Recent, and Chat Now.
3. Hit “Join Room”.
- Tap the heart button to add the room to your favorites!
- You may also invite your other friends to the chatroom.
4. Swipe in any direction to move around the room.
- Do you want to explore and find other users? Tap on the background to show nodes.
- Select a node to head to that area.
- Want to share where you are in the room? Take a photo!
5. Express yourself with actions!
- You can do actions by yourself or with your friends!
6. Say something!
7. Hit “Send”.
- You have sent a message in the chat!

Engage with other people in a 3D virtual world through Chat! You can join any room, talk to different avatars on different topics, and even interact with the objects in the background.

Keep yourself updated by checking out the Activity button! See who’s following you, who liked your latest post, and find out the latest updates to the app. You can also send messages to your friends!
Shop
Dress up your avatar! Check out the latest fashion in the Shop. From faces to accessories, you can find anything in here. Stay stylish!
